What would we do without technology?
Project Runway Season 8 was all about new technology and how we can incorporate it in fashion. With the new technology with HP Touch Smart Desktop it is now easier and faster to create a textile design. Just think, your fingers can be the next big textile design!
Below is also from Project Runway Season 8. This is the HP Touch Smart Notebook. The designers used the notebook to create there sketches without using color pencils/ markers or pencils/pens. This is also reducing the use of paper! Maybe one day we won't be using pencils or paper.
I love this upgrade. I feel like I'm seeing new technolgies everyday. Technology has evolved everywhere from grocery stores, fashion, and more. Its incredible how the world is being run by all this technology, and it makes you wonder what would happen if one day it was all gone.
ReplyDeleteThis is a very cool new technology. I dont draw or sketch or anything, but i can see if being very useful. You can take it anywhere and not worry about pencils and earasers and such.
ReplyDeleteI love how the show uses the sketch pads, its really interesting and a great use of technology! Designers can use the sketch pad when traveling or just walking around in a park and they don't have to have all the supplies that paper sketching would require.
ReplyDeleteI know some people are very against the increased use of technology, however, I think it is a very eco-friendly way to go. It saves paper, pencils, tracing paper, markers - all of it is at the tip of your fingers! I even think it could be used to become more efficient with time as well if designers saved croquees and used line art to make new designs.
